Something charmed can happen to you at L’Auberge
Sedona has always been a special city for me and my husband. Married in November 2013, we can look back six years (almost to the day) to our first get away as a couple to this enchanted place. As hiking, dining, wining and sightseeing enthusiasts, there are few places in Arizona we’ve found where we can fit so many of our leisurely pursuits into one trip and we frequently visit the magnificent red rocks of Sedona for a weekend escape.
In 2011, we had our first experience at the beautiful and romantic L’Auberge de Sedona. During our visit we enjoyed French breakfast and reading on our creek side deck; feeding the resident ducks and ducklings at dawn; and star gazing and falling asleep to the lullaby of Oak Creek at night. We dined, we wined and we loved every moment. Our time at L’Auberge was short, but the impact was great. If you open yourself to it, something charmed can happen to you at L’Auberge, like a fairy-tale. The feelings stay with you long after you leave and they call you back for years to come. Sharing these feelings with your true love only makes them that much stronger. My husband and I feel the pull to return to L’Auberge de Sedona and luckily, we’re close enough that it’s a quick jaunt to do just that and relive those feelings again and again.
